The Italian Serie A football club Inter Milan has announced the signing of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic from Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic.
Vlahovic is expected to join Inter on a long-term deal after impressing at the Under-21 level with his performances for local rivals Dundee United.
The 24-year-old has already made seven appearances for Dundee United this season and scored two goals, including a penalty shootout winner against Stirling Albion last month.
Vlahovic has been tipped as a potential top scorer for Inter Milan and will now look to make an impact in the English Premier League.
Dunfermline Athletic, which currently play in the Scottish Championship, have been struggling under new manager Gordon Strachan who is also known for his success in the English Premier League. The team finished fourth in their domestic league last season and only managed to secure promotion through a play-off round.
Despite not being able to qualify for the Champions League, they still have some talented players who could be key to Inter's success next season.
Inter Milan have had several successful signings in recent years, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku,La Liga Frontline Nemanja Matic, and Marco Asensio all having impressive careers in Italy. However, there may be some competition for spots on the bench for the 24-year-old.
Overall, Vlahovic's arrival is a positive development for Inter Milan, but it remains to be seen how he will perform on the pitch for the club. With a strong squad and plenty of talent, there is no reason why Vlahovic cannot become a key player for Inter and help them reach the highest echelons of European football.
